Garmin has customers from all walks of life, experiences and backgrounds. We believe it’s important for our workforce to also be diverse and inclusive to build superior products and better serve our customers.
MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. DAY OF SERVICE
Garmin associates have the third Monday in January off, but we encourage them to spend the day volunteering. To honor Dr. King’s life and message, Garmin provides information about and opportunities to serve nonprofit organizations that make a positive impact in our communities. We also match associate contributions made to these organizations.
Veterans make up a significant portion of Garmin associates. These women and men bring invaluable experience and unique insight. We offer specialized groups to help them find support and community at Garmin.

Garmin has seven business resource groups that offer associates a forum to connect and provide mentorship.
Black EnterpR.I.S.E. (REACH, INSPIRE, SERVE, ENGAGE)
Black EnterpR.I.S.E. aspires to support an evolving company culture through the promotion of diversification, recruitment and retention of African American/Black associates, cultural education, community outreach, networking and professional growth opportunities.
C.A.R.E.S. (CAREGIVING ALLIANCE FOR RESOURCES, EDUCATION AND SUPPORT)
C.A.R.E.S. has a mission to bring harmony between careers and caregivers through empathy and community.
This group cultivates associate engagement through personal connections, professional development and community outreach.
Our GPSVETS group provides resources and connections for associates who are veterans. They also offer various volunteer opportunities throughout the year.
The Juntos BRG has a mission to facilitate the success of Garmin Latino associates by enriching their professional lives, creating connections, promoting environments that welcome value and leveraging diversity while contributing to the Latino local community.
LGBTQ+ Allies strives to create an inclusive community by fostering a nondiscriminatory workplace environment, encouraging positivity and empowering all LGBTQ+ people and allies.
Women's Business Forum
The Women’s Business Forum exists to elevate, cultivate and facilitate the contribution and development of professional women.
