Financial
Our retirement and savings plans rate 82% above the high-tech industry median. Our 401K retirement plan provides 5% of pay base contribution plus a match of 75 cents for every dollar you contribute to a maximum of 10% of your compensation. In addition, our employee stock purchase plan allows for shares to be bought at a 15% discount.
Wellness Program
For the Health of It!, our company-wide voluntary wellness program, aims at increasing awareness and improving Garmin associates’ knowledge of their personal health. The program’s mission is to inspire and empower individuals to take responsibility for their own health through balanced nutrition, regular physical activity and awareness and education. Our tobacco-free campus lets everyone breathe easy.
Pilot Certification
At Garmin, we want our associates to take flight—literally. We offer financial assistance for the costs associated with pilot certification and ground school. We also provide reimbursement for a portion of the hourly rental rate when using participating vendors and clubs.
Career Path
We know the importance of each waypoint on the way to completing a journey. As such, our associates are encouraged to develop their skills within the company. Professional development is supported by tuition reimbursement and training resources, up to $7,000 per associate each year, as well as internal recruitment efforts and a policy that prioritizes promoting from within the company.
